About us- Why we do what we do!

We are a family of believers, and we have created an effort to serve families and individuals in need and to share Christ’s love in every community through practical care, private meal gifting, and compassionate outreach.

This mission began as something God placed on our hearts. A vision designed by the Holy Spirit, but it is carried out as a family. Together, we serve with one purpose: to bless God and to bless people.

We understand struggles because we have lived them out.

When my husband and I had our daughter (and also 4 boys), I became a stay-at-home mother to care for our very young children. Childcare for three little ones was incredibly expensive, so in an effort to save money, we lost a much-needed income. Suddenly, our one paycheck wasn't enough, and somehow, we had to make it support all seven of us. We made "too much" for assistance, and "not enough" in reality. BUT GOD always provided!

There were moments where buying groceries felt impossible. There were nights we weren’t sure if we had enough food for everyone. We used food banks, and God bless those companies, because they fed our family when we had nowhere else to turn.

There is nothing more humbling than having to ask for food,
and nothing more painful than wondering if there will be enough.

Those years shaped our hearts. They taught us compassion, humility, and gratitude. They opened our eyes to the families who need help or who fall into the gap. Making “too much” for assistance, but still barely surviving.

So now, we stand in that gap.

We want to remove judgment.
We want to remove shame.
And we want to bring the light back to Christ and to His people.

Through Model of Mercy Ministries, we now serve through several outreach programs, including private meal gifting through our Mission Meals partner volunteers, Grocery Blessing Boxes filled with shelf-stable food, Street Blessing Bags for the unhoused, Hygiene & Hope Kits, and Community Care Cards that connect people to resources and prayer. Each act of service is done with humility, dignity, and love.

What We Believe

✅ Giving should feel like love, not charity
✅ No one should have to prove they are “poor enough” to receive help
✅ Support should be offered with dignity and respect
✅ God is honored when we take care of one another
✅ Every act of kindness points back to Jesus
✅ People deserve to feel seen, supported, and loved

Our mission is simple:

✅ Serve those experiencing hardship
✅ Restore dignity
✅ Share Christ
✅ Serve with joy

Because the Bible says:

“For I was hungry and you gave Me something to eat.”
- Matthew 25:35

“Carry each other’s burdens, and in this way, you will fulfill the law of Christ.”
- Galatians 6:2

“Whoever is generous to the poor lends to the LORD,
and He will repay him for his deed.”
- Proverbs 19:17

“God loves a cheerful giver.”
- 2 Corinthians 9:7

Whether we are serving 1 family or 100, our message stays the same:

You are seen. You are loved. You are not forgotten.

We are here to restore dignity, support families, strengthen communities, and shine the love of Jesus. One meal, one resource, and one word at a time.

Our future goal is to reach more families, provide more resources to those in need, expand Grocery Blessing Boxes, grow our Mission Meals partner volunteer program, and host more community events that bring hope and support where it’s needed most.

If you would like to be a part of this mission, we welcome volunteers, supporters, prayer partners, and anyone with a heart to serve. Every hand helps, and every prayer matters. Please check out the link and fill out the forms to sign up.

Have a blessed day!
